TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Thank you for choosing to stay at Aireys Inlet lighthouse Retreat.
We look forward to welcoming and hosting you at Lighthouse Retreat to ensure your stay with us a relaxing and memorable occasion.
During your stay with us, we want you to unwind, relax and enjoy all the amenities that Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat and the surrounding areas have to offer.
However, to enable us to provide such an experience, we require some assistance from all our guests. We ask you to read the following information carefully. By booking a room you are agreeing to these terms.
Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat is an adults only Retreat. We do not cater for children (unless you have an exclusive booking of the entire Retreat).
Rooms and facilities are for the use of resident guests only.
Our Retreat and guest suites are a non-smoking environment.
Please advise us in advance if you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements and we will work through these together and do our best to accommodate your request.
“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat.
“Property” or “Retreat” means Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat and all its fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
“Management” means the owners and managers of Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat.
“Guests” means the persons who pay to stay overnight at Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat during their booking period.
“Visitor” means a person a Guest seeks to permit to visit Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat during the booking stay period.
2. ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY
Accommodation payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
3. BOOKING POLICY
All tariffs are quoted per suite per night for a maximum of two adults sharing, are quoted in Australian dollars and inclusive of 10% GST. All suites have been designed for the enjoyment of adults only and are unsuitable for children. Strictly N0 pets allowed. Strictly NO SMOKING – penalties will apply. Guests are required to be considerate of the quiet enjoyment of other guests staying at Lighthouse Retreat.
Guests will be charged a non-refundable prepayment of the total accommodation cost at the time of booking and a booking confirmation and receipt will be issued. Bookings will not be confirmed until the full accommodation payment has been received.
4. MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT
Minimum stay policy applies as follows:
• Weekends/ Long Weekends & Public Holidays – Minimum stay 2 nights.
• Mid-week single night bookings may be taken with a 10% single night surcharge.
• Summer season from 1 October – 30 April requires a minimum stay of 2 nights.
No refund will be made for a variation to the extent that it breaches our standard minimum 2 nights stay policy.
5. CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT
Guests may check in any time from 3pm (1500 hrs) onwards on arrival date.
Guest check out is 11am (1100 hrs) on departure date- except during peak times where we ask that you vacate your room before 10am
Late departure is subject to prior arrangement and availability at time of booking and extra charges may apply. Please ensure any requests for earlier check in or later check out are made by email to Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat prior to your arrival. We will do our best to endeavour to accommodate your request. For catering purposes it would be appreciated if you could inform us of your expected arrival time prior to arrival.
Deposits and Full Payment
We accept payments by Visa or MasterCard.
To confirm your booking full accommodation payment is required.
A formal booking confirmation will be issued to you following payment.
A Credit Card authorisation must be provided to Management on arrival at Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat to cover any incidental charges incurred during your stay with us.
Personal cheques are not accepted.
Payments of the amount due must be received in Australian Dollars net of any bank or other transaction charges.
7. CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that things do not always go according to plan and as much as possible we will try to accommodate when you are forced to change or cancel your booking. However, for the long term sustainability of our business, we (at our sole discretion) do reserve the right to charge you standard industry cancellation fees as follows:
The guest will forfeit the full (100%) cost of the accommodation payment for any booking cancellation.
All pre-paid bookings are non-refundable.
If the Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any monies paid will be refunded in full.
9. DAMAGE, BREAKAGES AND LOSSES
While staying at Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat we want you to feel at home. In return, we ask you treat Lighthouse Retreat with the same respect you would for your own property. You are required to leave your suite in the state in which you found it on arrival. All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in on your arrival. You are responsible for the safekeeping and return of your accommodation keys.
In the unfortunate circumstance you accidentally cause breakage, damage or loss of property, please report this immediately to management.
Any damage, loss or expense incurred by Management as a result of breakage, damage, loss to the property or its contents, or any excess cleaning requirements as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions will be charged to you using the credit card provided.
Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat is strictly a non-smoking environment.
10. LINEN AND TOWELS
Quality bedding, linen, pillows, blankets, bath robes, bath towels, hand towels, face washers, and beach towels (during summer) are provided for your use and must be left where supplied in the bedroom or bathroom on departure.
11. PLUNGE POOL, GYM & SAUNA
Lighthouse Retreat has a solar heated plunge pool and sauna for guest use. Please ensure the safe use of these facilities at all times during your stay with us. Guests enter the pool area, gym and sauna at own risk and are asked to take care at all times around the pool area, gym and sauna to ensure own safety and the safety and quiet enjoyment for others.
12. LOST PROPERTY
Lost property is held for a period of one (1) month. It is the responsibility of the guest to contact Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat to claim and make arrangements for the return of lost property.
13. RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS & NEIGHBOURS
Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat is located in a residential area and may accommodate up to six guests at any one time. To ensure quiet enjoyment for all our guests, we request that all guests of Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat act with common courtesy and be considerate of others during their stay.
You must comply with all rules and instruction from Management at Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbours.
Foul language, drunkenness, belligerence or any other behaviour deemed to be disruptive to other guests and neighbours will result in you being asked to depart the property.
14. PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS
Every care is taken by management to provide you with a relaxing and enjoyable stay with us. In the case of any problems or complaints, you must inform Management at the earliest opportunity so Management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow any repair/service access to your suite during reasonable hours.
The owners of the Aireys Inlet Lighthouse Retreat are not liable for loss to you of any personal belongings while you are in the property. You are strongly recommended to arrange comprehensive travel insurance to include cancellation insurance and personal belongings since these items or injury, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our property are not covered by the owners’ insurance.
The owners shall not be liable to the client/guest:
• For any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property for reasons beyond our control.
• For any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, or other matters beyond our control.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The liability of the owners shall be limited to the amount of any accommodation payments. At no time shall the owners be liable for consequential damages.
